Hey, thanks for taking the time to check me out!
I am a game audio designer currently based in Sacramento, CA after graduating with a pretty sweet B.F.A in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I have been an audiophile since I was young and have worked with music-related sound for over 10 years and have been doing game audio since I first realized I could back in 2013. I thrive in working with the game development team to make their visions for their game become a reality. Each game I work on is its own world with its own needs to cater to and challenges to overcome, and I love immersing myself in those creative adventures so I can grow a better understanding for game audio! When I'm not working on sound-related things, you can usually find me playing video games with my friends (I'm still the defending champion at Super Smash Bros.) or planning adventures to go on with my adventure cats. I was born with slightly-impaired hearing, and didn't have the best idea what sound really was until I was around five years old. If you had told me then that it would come to be one of my greatest passions, I probably wouldn't have been able to hear you. (ha-ha!) WHAT I DO
INTERACTIVE AUDIOFrom a pile of rocks hitting the ground at varying speeds to the sound of a tire accelerating over pavement, I make audio systems that make your game sound as believable as possible.
AUDIO IMPLEMENTATIONGetting my sounds into your game is the fun part. Whether I'm using in-house audio tools or third-part audio middleware, I make sure all audio assets and systems are working the way they're designed to.

ASSET CREATIONI give your coolest visuals the spice of life they deserve. Anything your wicked creative mind can muster, I match in wicked awesome sounds.
CINEMATICS & TRAILERSNot only practiced in creating sound for non-linear media, I also beef up everything from announcement trailers to in-game cinematics to bring some cinematic "wow" factor to your game.

FIELD RECORDING & FOLEYFrom various ambiences to the complexities of movement, I add every intricate detail needed to bring your characters, mechanisms and environments to life.
AND MORE...Voice recording to music composition. Using fire to melt microphones. I do it all, and have a good time doing it. Each game I've worked on is its own world with its own needs and challenges, and that's exactly why I love doing what I do.

"Chris worked around the clock to make sure our game sounded the best it possibly could. He arranged multiple foley sessions and meetings with our voice actors, and when the development team was up until 5 A.M. working on the game, you can bet Chris was there to make sure the audio systems worked every step of the way. I cannot recommend him enough for anyone looking for great sounds for their games."

"Chris was one of the best things to happen to my game. He is very punctual and works very fast. The sounds he created for the game were perfect almost every time, and when they weren't a redo was in my hands moments later. He also created the musical score for the game and made myself and the other developers feel included and excited every step of the way. "Chris totally made all my hopes for my senior thesis animation come true! He made me feel very included in his creative process, and had no problem scheduling multiple voice recording sessions for me to record all of my characters' grunts and yells. I'd never thought I'd see the day where my voice would come out of a variety of beetle soldiers and two beefy gods, but thanks to Chris I finally got to see and hear that in all its awesomeness."
